About Me

Hello, I'm Erin Guinn Harden. I'm a native of Southern California currently living in Utah. I'm a mom, adventurer, wildlife biologist, paraeducator, and cinnamon roll afficionado. I was introduced to fiber art when my mom was expanding her talents and started wet felting wool hats for presents one year. Curious, I researched it, and was drawn to needle felting. I've started with landscapes, and am learning how to do animal portraits and sculptures, as well as mobiles.

I love being surrounded by nature and finding ways to bring it inside, since I can't be outside 24/7 (as much as I try!). I hope my art brings some of this into your home as well. I'm a tactile person, so creating with wool and felt is quite therapeutic, which I need now more than ever. : ) Thank you for your support and encouragement.

Side note: I use locally sourced wool, recycled yarn and wool, and bamboo fibers from local vendors in all of my creations. I'm a huge believer in supporting my local small businesses and artisan crafters here in Utah. One of my favorite local sources of the hand-dyed wool that I use comes from Greenwood Fiberworks.
